I don’t know, aside from Sony and Nintendo of course, I see a correlation about being exclusive to one particular platform vs. those who release their games everywhere, with the latter thriving.

Koei Tecmo Holdings, a $6bn gaming company, revealed at an earnings briefing on Monday that it had written off ¥4.1bn ($30mn) after the Credit Suisse additional tier 1 bonds it acquired became worthless.
The decision to invest in Credit Suisse bonds was made by Koei Tecmo chair Keiko Erikawa, who has been a friend of SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son for four decades and has sat on the board of the Japanese technology conglomerate since 2021.
The Japanese gaming company, known for hits such as Nobunaga’s Ambition and Dynasty Warriors , has never made a loss in its 45 years and has an annual dividend payout ratio of 50 per cent. For the fiscal year that ended in March, Koei Tecmo reported an annual profit of ¥31bn.

Wait really? I was reading it and looked at the chart and didn’t think much of it until the author mention it having PS4 in its name. Damn, I wonder if they’re even going to bother to correct the article or delete it with an apalogy.

Hey guy’s, got a quandry im hoping someone has come across, surely id have thought.
Bought a new Tv, Samsung Q70C QLED. Love it, so good, couldnt be happier. But… i seemingly shouldnt have hooked my Xbox controller up to the sammy for cloud gaming, as if i want to switch over to the xbox input proper, the controller doesnt work! It becomes all thrown out, no left, no up, a orb, it must be a setting or something but it is driving me crazy. To add to it, i cannot find anyway in the tv settings to perma remove the xbox controller as a device, it repeatedly reconnects to it.
Does this mean anything to anyone or sound like a timewarp ?
Is this by Bluetooth?
Series controllers only remember the last two things connected, so connect it to your xbox (say) and then connect to your phone, and it’ll remove the telly.

Ill give this a crack
I build my PC this year and I would recommend it to anyone with just a little knowledge of installing softwares properly.
I spent twice as much as a Series X and got twice as much as raw performance as series X. All the extra performance on top of it is visible in games like Alan wake 2 where I not only gain twice the frames but also RT benefits as well.
Xbox backed up with PC gamepass should not waste there efforts in creating most powerful console which they sell for heavy loss.
Instead try to create version 2 of series S without its limitation and sell it for $350 dollars without loss.
I have more to add to it but maybe its enough for my rant on Hardwar topic.

Honestly, it reminds me a bit of Starfield where narratives took over discourse of the game. It wasn’t as toxic where people went on for months about it like Starfield. This is why gaming can be all kind of awful these days because people will dismiss a game due to online discourse, but luckily for Microsoft they give people the chance to actually play these games to form their own opinions.
