But I was told by a multitude of armchair analysts that nobody was buying their hardware… and why I always defer to official/actual numbers before running with the newest FUD and manufactured controversies.
Basically a “consequence” of a global release for Western fans of this series, in Japan they were always pulling that kind of thing and vast amounts of DLC that the Western versions would usually throw in for free.
Not that it should be happening in any region of course, nickel and dime shit.
Plus multiple updates on (somehoe weirdos count these as new releases)
Sea of thieves.
Halo.
Both Forzas.
Starfield.
COD.
Diablo 3.
Diablo 4 expansion
ESO new expansion.
Fallout 76
Overwatch 2
Age of empires 2 and 4.
New WOW expansion.
Minecraft.
Sooooooo 8 new AAA first party games and 15 ongoing games for a total of 22 games in total…not bad but Im sure for some (for some reasom) this list is a mere “thats it?” e.e
And 7 of those on going games are multiplat(well some more than others), with planned releases on Nintendo consoles in the future.
Not to mention work on mobile games, like the upcoming Warzone Mobile, The new TES mobile game, Mighty Doom, the WoW mobile game, likely updates for Diablo Immortal.
Either they give us Towerborne Open Beta in Q1 or just have large amount of game updating with SoT, Halo Infinite, ESO, DIV, and more. After that, the train won’t stop.
It’s like IGN just have to find any possible way to post doom and gloom about Xbox, they can’t even get the game title correct. Sacrifice was the original game… idiots!!
A lot of stuff but they had a lot of stuff in 2023 so no surprise here.
As others have said, first half they have Hellblade 2 and some updates. But first quarter I agree. I don’t mind it though. I have four games in February/March so I personally didn’t need a fifth game. Hellblade 2 in late May a few weeks before the Xbox Showcase is great!!!
