Honestly, it’s the right move. Say what you want about it, but if they are struggling about it, this is only way to flat out receive the answer, even if it hurts to hear.
I mean, didnt they should know already? For me, this reads as them needing to have something formal/research on which to base further actions or decisions.
I mean we do hear about ID@Xbox dilemma like “they don’t contact me back so we can’t release the game.” True, some could be shady, but if it does affect some who legit wants to release it but feared by it, best to straight it out.
The one we heard that with, Enotria, was because of extra security measures after Microsoft was hacked last year. It was most likely a similar situation for that Haak game though those devs had already disbanded and they didn’t actually have any interest in putting it on Xbox.
Grim Dawn devs couldn’t get their expansion on Xbox for a very long time and couldn’t get a hold of anyone at Xbox. I think they eventually were able to get it on the store tho
Edit: it wasnt an expansion apparently it was a free update to the game that added a lot of stuff
I don’t watch a lot of TV normally either, I tend to turn up to event TV like a Fallout series. There is too much reality TV on now, so just use it for gaming and the kids stick to Netflix.
