I thought Virginia and Last Stop were both pretty bad and boring but if the Chinese Room can improve from Dear Esther to Still Wakes the Deep maybe these devs can also release a good horror game.
Lol Virginia was so my thing on paper and the art style is cool but then it turned out so boring I regretted even the little I paid for it. And yeah Still Wakes the Deep is awesome and more relevant now with The Thing Remastered I feel!
People didnāt just wonder, someone well known was lamenting his departure⦠while actual developers who worked under him rejoiced. I think Iāll take the opinion of the latter, because they actually know how things are.
I followed that closely for a bit and it was absolutely insane. I saw people genuinely believing the Abandoned game was a thing. And sometimes it was convincing like linking the game to Death Stranding somehow or Silent Hill 2ā¦
I just remember seeing folks over x dunking on Xbox. Not to compare, but Xbox could release a head leader due to serious charges and people will still say Xbox is going down under.
I might be the only one but I sort of wish that Halo Infinite did the exact same. The mode editor is so flexible that you could create stuff like this right now. It just needs a public facing playlist for people to widely play it.
Games with not a lot of gameplay but an infuriating slow running speed just get under my skin sometimes. Thats why iām such a big fan of Talos Principle. Yes this is a puzzle game but your running speed is like in Serious Sam (same dev and engine helps)
Oh yeah I canāt deny in Everybodyās Gone to the Rapture and Dear Estha I was mashing the run button in the desperate hope it was doing something lol
