@PhantomFox I take it back this is the funniest shit ever.
LMFAO Kotaku actually fell for it!
I’m not even surprised.
EDIT: It got deleted. But I still have the screenshot.
EDIT 2: They followed up with this:
I got the screenshot, LOL not gonna forget this anytime soon.
Now this is great lol.
Fuck it I think PhantomFox deserves a Tag for that one @Sikamikanico @OneBadMutha …
Trickster or something like that.
A+ @PhantomFox
It wasn’t my Tweet actually. All I did was pass it on and watch the chaos unfold. ![]()
Even Jeff Grubb fell for it and now @RandalThor19 is running circles on the gaming journalists on Twitter telling them how easy it was to spot the fake.
This is truly a blessed moment to witness.
@PhantomFox great minds think alike!
This shit is hilarious. All ya had to do was hover or click on their profile and see how many followers they had!

Great news everyone…

Xbox Youtubers:
More reliable and informed than paid gaming journalists.
It’s weird how poor journalism for Xbox is. I can’t think of any major outlet besides Windows Central that does a thorough job about Xbox
I fell for it… but I skimmed it in a forum post and was had for half a minute. These “journalists” and the like are freaking embarassing, this shows how much research, fact checking and source evaluation they do: 0.
I think it’s because before they never had to be bothered…
Personally I find it rather lame.
It’s not even april fools. Or well, not here. And I bet it isn’t in the US either. So htf are folks falling for it?
