And this is why MS is buying Activision

Not really, but they lost so much trust. Vince Zampella could still save it and make it great again

I really liked some of the stories in the older ones, bf4 had a decent campaign and I liked bad company. Don’t care for the multiplayer in any as I can’t keep track of what’s up

You just woke up :joy:

Well MW2 being in gamepass dream still running

I hope so or I’m buying 3 copies

Y’all wait what is it that I’m reading about Hunter x Hunter returning is this real?!

2042 is

But the IP will be fine, just needs one good game to turn things around, gimme a Bad Company 2 remaster, still the GOAT

while people trying to pass a narrative that gamepass is not worth it the latter keeps proving them wrong.

just a miracle to save this ip. they had everything to be leaders again vs the weak (and still weak) Vanguard, ATVI problems, etc. they threw it all away.

Is Soap from the original trilogy in these games?

I know Price returned

Not on Xbox ?

ā€œat a later dateā€ like a few other titles (Roboquest for one, which is awesome)

This is my most hyped game this year

That’s for sure. For this reason I don’t think Xbox needs a multi-IP kart racer or brawl game. I’d rather have something unique like what was proposed by another user on this forum: a kid friendly multi-IP FPS (paintball or whatever).

But spin-off games, which we see quite a bit of from Nintendo, I think that’s wise. Halo Spartan Assault was actually a fantastic idea that was rolled out poorly as a mobile title. I’ve yet to play it so I can’t comment on the quality of the game but the concept seems great and I’m guessing a console sized dev budget could have resulted in a must-play.

Gears Tactics made a lot of sense as well but I do think they should chase genres-du-jour. Class-based hero fighters had their day and a Halo one could have been great. But that time has passed. It could be argued that Battle Royale is past its due date but I’m thinking of different enough, CA’s version might resonate with folks.

Right now it’s Souls-like games and an FPS or 3rdPS Souls-like with an existing IP is something I’d be all over. Like a Spartan upgrading their equipment the whole time. What if it took place on another section of Zeta Halo? Used the exact same engine? That’s the sort of efficient development that seems to make sense to me.

Yes . We were talking about it in the Anime and Manga thread .

Yep, CoD almost always sells gangbusters. It’s why I’ve been saying for years that what the online ā€œenthusiastsā€ and Twitter warriors have to say about the industry or popularity of something is rarely in line with reality.

COD has always been the game that the casuals buy, it’s always COD and FIFA every year, it’s just like the whole movement to not buy PokĆ©mon Sword and Shield which was pretty big then it releases and it’s the fastest selling ever PokĆ©mon game lol.

I feel like COD selling gangbusters has never been disputed lol. People call it the Mcdonalds of Gaming for a reason.
