It was mentioned in the article they are writing GTAVI to be a little more socially conscious, like how they went back and removed some transphobic stuff from GTAV not all that long ago. There’s probably going to be some Gamers who are mad that they are “politically correct” now, as if satire is only possible if they can make fun of trans people or whoever else.

Latin woman protagonist is already making them mad. Removing and being mindful of sensitive and harmful stereotypical depiction and language, it makes them more mad. It’s gotta be such a low and sad existence for someone to be angry about stuff like that that.

Yeah, I just saw that, if you want Yakuza 3, 4 and 5 Remastered, you need Premium. Also the way they are presenting it, you would think Yakuza 7 will also be in the catalog, on top of being in Essential, when it is not. Definitely a bit shady and confusing the way they are presenting it, much like a game with just a demo made for Premium will be shown as being a game in the catalog.

Yeah I don’t even know what I end up with. I wonder how the decision was made behind the scene. Sega was probably like “Er this is confusing but as long as it brings in new folks like GP, I see why not.”
In the meanwhile, you only need the basic cable Game Pass sub to have access to all.
The thing is, GTA didn’t pick sides. They mocked everyone basically. It made fun of anime, American reality shows, history and so much more. Someone today mentioned South Park. They really don’t care and they just do it, I like that, it’s satire. Albeit it can cross a line at times, I won’t deny that.
Better working conditions fantastic, wish the rest had stayed as it is.

Some groups pay a much heavier price in the real world than others do because of negative portrayals in media. All mockery is not created equal, “not picking a side” is a false narrative. Thinking otherwise is not seeing the reality of the world or just not caring.

They didn’t have to mindfully “pick sides” they were insensitive and offensive a lot of the time regardless, byproduct of the era or not. The portrayal of women is wholly objectifying and demeaning. The depiction of black people and as the gangstar lowlife criminal stereotype. You might not be someone that would feel offended because the people authoring that stuff look like you, but others feel and see it. “Mockery” can be at an individual and social level, when it’s at a culture and identity level, it’s problematic.

It makes sense but I thought it would be too soon for the more recent Ubisoft games. I already bought the game sigh
I was thinking about buying it yesterday, but decided to wait it out, since there’s a chance that it might not really be my kind of game.
I haven’t gone through it myself but by all accounts it’s literally a Ubisoft Breath of the Wild, which is something that I’ll be into.
Being “the home of CoD” will really be huge.

Yup and the funny thing is they are people on twitter and even here calling this “huge” or 'this is a big W" for Sony 
when anyone can have have access to all Yakuza games on Xbox with one game-pass subscription.
