That’s why Judgment can’t come to PC, and thus cannot come to PC Game Pass, and thus from my observation will not come to Game Pass even just for console.
They have had console only games before.

My unsubstantiated guess is that honoring contracts and keeping some things multiplatform really helps to dispel the perception that their naked ambition is negative to the industry. That is to say, if they get called out by a regulatory body, they can point to that behavior and paint themselves as “one of the good ones”
Not sure how accurate that guess is but if it keeps free content coming to GP, I don’t care about sharing with non-Xbox players or waiting a bit for moneyhats to expire. (As a matter of fact, I’d prefer games be multiplat ideologically but that’s not the topic here)

We don’t know much about Playdead’s game so it’s all speculating at this point, Epic is the publisher so it’s not easy to predict who will have the marketing rights. You are right though that Limbo and Inside coming to Game Pass this year is a good sign, haven’t thought of that to be honest. 
Also it’s being what? 7 years since Inside came out? I guess we will finally see the game in action this year, most likely at a big event like Sony’s big fall showcase, Game Awards or a XO22 (if it happens).

Touhou 6 EOSD turned 20 today. It remains one of the most popular entries in this gargantuan series and inspired an absolute shitload of fangames and mid 2000s internet memes. If anyone here played Touhou Luna Nights on Xbox, it was inspired by this entry.

Yeah I don’t see the game coming to Game Pass at day one too, because of Epic and because their game will probably be a huge success sales wise…Xbox marketing rights could still happen though and who knows? maybe the game will end up on Game Pass at some point in the future too.
Happy 20th anniversary to my not knowing what exactly Touhou is and why people are so crazy about it 
Really though, that’s cool even if it makes me feel like I just chose poorly from the grails on display.

That’s why a lot of games go eithe “one game per gen” or “GaaS” routes.
Could you imagine having 100 million active family plans, That would allow 500 million people to play games?
