XboxEra Community Hangout |OT9| Waiting for Developer_E3

I’m practically salivating at these environments.

The game kept looking better with time (not just graphics) but I always had doubts, but when Focus announced they were gonna be publisher I gained more confidence the game is likely to be good.

Man, I really hope this game lives up to the hype.

When it was first revealed years ago I had no idea they’d be going this large scale with it.

It really looks like Bioshock Infinite

In the 2nd screenshot I could see that. It is like Bioshock more in its immersive sim design though, which is why I’ve been interested in it.

It looks great but those tweets from recently have me very wary. I hope there’s no cause for concern. Let Xbox also have some luck for a change with big third party additions to Game Pass.

I think in general you should have less concerns.

I am still looking forward to it though.

Isn’t that what vertical slice is for?

Every game does this for PR…

I can get behind the crunch but what up with this vertical slice thing?

I worry too much? Hmmm.

I probably misunderstood this. I read this

Gameplay trailers of Atomic Heart were reportedly developed as vertical slices instead of being captured from a working build of the game, giving the impression of a polished game to audiences.

As something negative. Instead of being captured from a working build of the game. And going by reactions to these tweets it seemed many were starting to worry.

If the finished game looks and plays like the footage we’ve seen, that’s great.

Nice! Followed. I’d recommend everyone at least give Mastodon a quick look if you use the birdsite and anything Elongated Muskrat is doing makes you feel a bit uncomfortable.

Already there’s an alternative to Twitter? Will it rise or be like how those who wanted to compete with YouTube (Bitchute was it?) because of political stance or whatever they spout these days? Anyway, having an actual figure signing up for one is a start.

I hear its a bit different? Someone described it as walled gardens , idk. Would like to find an alternative but I guess I’ll migrate to whatever crystalizes as the service once the dust settles.

I hope Twitter never dies, love that site.

It’s weird because it’s decentralized and has different servers. Haven’t used it yet, but I imagine it comes at a cost of user friendliness.

Yeah looks like its different servers and stuff, nah.

It’s basically the opposite of walled gardens…unless you’re on a server that has been mass banned by other servers and usually there would be a very good reason for that.
