Question for the next podcast:
What do you think about PS plan for 10 GaaS in 4 years? This will boost sales and more importantly player retention.
Do you think Xbox will now need to create more GaaS to help with the player retention battle?

I don’t mean to sound like an ass here… But I just don’t listen to long-form podcasts without time codes. Sorry, I don’t mean to pee in anybody’s corn flakes, I just thought I’d hammer home how important I find this topic, as I suspect I’m not alone in this.
There’s just WAY too many I’m interested in. If an episode of any given podcast is over 30-45 minutes, the vast majority of the time I don’t even download it if it doesn’t have clickable time codes. And if not time codes, then at the very least quite specific content descriptions.
This is a pretty good example of the latter:
Yes, they don’t have specific time codes, but they do have some approximate ones, and within each range they list all the topics they discussed in that range. This approach is not as good as the specific time codes approach, but it’s miles better than a paragraph that gives a brief overview.
Again, I hope I don’t come across as entitled or ungrateful. Free content is obviously a great thing. I just wanted to give some feedback that might be helpful.
We do provide timestamps on the video version of the pod. I’ve looked at whether Soundcloud supports the same, and it doesn’t seem to sadly.

Yeah, I saw that on the video version in the past. That’s a bummer that SoundCloud doesn’t support it. I only listen to podcasts on my daily walk, but I suppose I could start using the video stream. I’m guessing it’ll still play if my screen is off…

It was much smoother. I feel it helped that that you made sure the patrons were more self aware to be a little less long winded and self indulgent with their questions. Even Cerys’ half dozen paragraph post was concise…for her

I liked it! The flow was good, with the community questions spread out at relevant places it felt more like an integrated part than a chunk at the end you had to wade through.

I don’t want to come off as sounding too negative as the flow was much better this week with spreading the questions out rather than grouping them all together. There is still at least I feel a problem where you are neglecting to talk about gaming topics in favour of answering questions.
The long awaited Xbox exclusive CrossfireX releases this Thursday and I was disappointed you guys failed to even mention it.
Another long awaited game Dying Light 2: Stay Human got released and the reception with reviews could have been touched upon.
Psychonauts 2 won GOTY at the New York Game Awards and also the award for Best World. Xbox exclusive Sable won Best Indie Game and Best Music in a Game.
As Dusk Falls the game being published by Xbox got a ESRB Rating meaning it must be getting released much sooner than we thought.
Rockstar dropped big news about working on the next Grand Theft Auto game. Also that a next-gen version for GTA V for Series X|S will launch in March.
Forza Horizon 5, Grounded and Halo Infinite received updates.
Activision teased Call of Duty being developed by Infinity Ward.
Game Pass is losing some big games in Control, The Medium, Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age, The Falconeer, Project Winter and Code Vein.
Bethesda shared some more Starfield concept art.
Oddworld: Stranger’s Wrath HD got announced and releasing this Friday. This game was originally an OG Xbox exclusive.
Season One of Battlefield 2042 delayed until the Summer.
I can’t remember if MLB The Show 22 and Certain Affinity’s Monster Hunter game was discussed last week with Jez and Rand, so left this at the end.

Also I know it would probably never happen, but IF, IF, IF, IF you guys got Phil on for an episode, @Shpeshal_Nick HAS to do a rumor mill surrounding Xbox just we can see what kind of pokerface Phil has.
Getting a major exec like Phil and expecting them to sit around with us for an hour or two is never going to happen We were extremely lucky with Jason Ronald and how generous he was with his time on a freakin SATURDAY.
Hmmm, new thought on a guest. What if I could get Clippy to be on? I’m going to try and find their PR guy.
