Another week, another update! Keep up the good work everyone ![]()
The Leaderboard:
Have a kind of special one:
+1 Psychonauts 2
I have watched psychodessey at least 5 times but had never gotten more than about a third of the way through the game. Finally decided to prioritize it over some other things and had a blast. This game is a gem, and seeing the story behind it just makes it so much more special. I’m glad I picked up a physical copy of this when it was available as well. Can’t wait for Keeper and whatever else they have cooking.
Loved that game, and the documentary!
I actually snagged one of the steel book copies of the documentary when that came out as well since I’d already seen it so many times and it’s so well done. Great team, and honestly seeing how much they went through and still managed to succeed is kind of inspiring.
Oh, that’s a nice collectors item.

+1 South Park: The Stick of Truth
The gameplay is nothing special. But for South Park fans, it’s almost like playing a (very long) episode of the show. Took me a while to get into it (turn-based strategy isn’t really my thing,) but I enjoyed it in the end.
+1 - Borderlands 2: GOTY Edition (XOne) - I picked this up over a decade ago, with the intent to run through the series with my partner; she didn’t jive with the series (which was fine), so this sat for a long while since I had just burnt myself out on playing months of it on the 360. Anyway, I still think BL2 is the best in the series (in one that’s only gotten worse with each title since imo), and the majority of the gameplay still holds up today. Absolutely recommend this, especially if you have a crew to go through the games with; makes it far more enjoyable and hectic. Now it’s time to start going through all the DLC I never went through, I suppose
9/10
+1 - Mass Effect Legendary Edition: Mass Effect (XSX) - The ME trilogy is one of my favorite RPG series and I was a bit worried that the gameplay of the original would have aged poorly (it’s been at least a decade since I last played it). Thankfully, the gameplay still largely holds up (barring the still annoying inventory management) and the story is still just as fantastic as ever, minus some clear writing issues that were glossed over at the time. The Remaster does a pretty damn good job of making the title look far more modern than it is, and I’m even more excited to see the rest of the trilogy now. Highly recommend the game and this collection. 10/10

Let it be known that no one can accuse me of going through easy/quick games. I just go where my ADHD-addled brain takes me ![]()
Monday! Time for this weeks update:
The Leaderboard:
The Outer Worlds +1
I decided to play through this game again before the sequel arrives later this month. Since I had the Spacer’s Choice Edition in the backlog, and I hadn’t played the DLC at all yet this would feel pretty fresh I thought, and I was right! This was excellent.
The differences from my first playthrough back at release are huge. The load times on the Series X alone makes it so much more enjoyable, than back on the One. Graphics look nicer, and it feels great to play.
As for the actual game, I changed things up a bit and this time I played a “dumb” character which was hilarious, I love how that impacted choices, dialogue options and NPC reactions. Had a lot of laughs during my main playthrough!
At first I didn’t plan to do much more than a short playthrough to freshen up the memory before the sequel, but I ended up going for all achievements… Did 3 playthroughs, including a Supernova one in the end. It’s such a good game, Obsidian is the best.
As for the DLC;
Peril on Gorgon +0.5
A good expansion to the main game, with a lore-anchored story which was pretty good. I enjoyed exploring the area, and being thorough I read everything etc. which of course influences how I perceive story etc. There’s a lot of it outside the main path, but that’s how it usually is I guess. Enemies was pretty much more of the same, with some variations. It’s basically the “more of the base game”-expansion, which is very good so no complaints there.
Murder on Eridanos +0.5
Now this was excellent. A detective story with lots of interesting characters, new mechanics, enemies etc. The environments was really cool, the setting and story was intriguing and the whole thing felt like a big step up from most of the main game. I had a great time playing this, excellent stuff.
I’m just finishing up the AC Shadows DLC (Claws of Awaji) then plan to dive into both Outer Worlds DLCs as a refresher ready for 2.
I bought them back in the day but lost my save from the main game - finally managed to recover it recently so thought it’s a great time to give them a go as I did also love it! ![]()
EDIT: Should mention very glad to hear they’re good, as it’s definitely making me look forward to giving them a go as sometimes DLC can be lacking
Well, that €1 sale they have got to me and I bought Vambrace: Cold Soul -1.
+0.5 AC Shadows: Claws of Awaji DLC
Really good expansion - more of the same but in a good way, more targets, more of everything.
It’s a good size for an expansion, worth the money with quite a bit to do, plenty to explore and is a really nice way to end the AC Shadows story.
Now on to one or two of The Outer Worlds DLCs before Powerwash Simulator 2 on Thursday and The Outer Worlds 2 on Friday!
EDIT: Oops put 1 instead of a half point lol
I don’t think I realized I was getting the Claws of Awaji dlc included for free when I pre-ordered AC Shadows, but I also completed it, I’ll give myself + 0 since I didn’t take a negative for it when I bought the game. I thought this was a pretty good expansion, there were some new mechanics with having to watch for trip wires, and that one stalking duel was pretty cool as well.
+.5 Watch Dogs Bad Blood
Decent, added rc car that they used in later game and it was fun to get back in the world and play some more of this.
+1 Life is Strange 2
I had a hard time getting into this past the first episode, and it really felt like it was skipping around and hard to get into the other characters. Also ended up with a bad ending, so didn’t love that. Still neat concept and a bit different take than the Telltale games with story telling that changes based on your choices.
+0 Cocoon
Clever and wanted to finish before it left game pass. Pretty cool concept for puzzles.
+1 Mafia the Old Country
Took the advice here and played this before doing 2 or 3, overall really enjoyed it. Had some minor complaints with stuff like talking to people and not being able to guess how close to them to get to start a conversation, and some terrain that felt like I should be able to move through wasn’t, but it had a pretty good if somewhat predictable story. The ending kind of annoyed me.
Yep I very much wanted a different ending lol, but then I guess that’s the nature of Mafia games (and films) - like in Mafia 1 with that post-credits scene… ![]()
Yeah, I was annoyed throughout most of my playthrough…
-1 Mortal Kombat Legacy Kollection
Total = 3
@Mort I heard ya, bro ![]()
Alright, I didn’t really make it any easier for myself this year when it comes to taking things easy and to keep the backlog as small as can be, in fact, the exact opposite. ![]()
This year I bought:
October 2025
September 2025
(Received as gift,but is backlog)
…
August 2025
Yes, August and September was like a declaration of war on my backlog, haha.
July 2025
June 2025
April 2025
March 2025
February 2025
January 2025
Of all these I’ve finished River City Girls, Tiny Tina Wonderlands, Mafia 2 DE, Oceanhorn.
Now playing/juggling between :
Flipping Death, Powerwash Simulator, Little Nightmares 2, Borderlands 4, SpongeBob.
Some of those are beat em ups that I solely play when my nephews visit me and if I see those in the sales I grab those.
And of course PLENTY in the backlog from 2024 and several years before that too. ![]()
Aaaah yes, gaming is good!
When does all of this get finished?

you trying to set a record for negative score? ![]()
