Thats the 360 game. Its not bad but has terrible framerate and input lag on 360. Still I enjoyed it somewhat. The Directors Cut for Xbone is way better, so if you want to play some zombie infested 2D platformer with some light puzzles buy this version instead!
+1 Another Sight (Games with Gold)
A forgettable 2.5D puzzle platformer. Its slow, drags and there are way too many good games in this genre. Avoid!

I’m afraid this one won’t count as it is a subscription game (you need Game Pass to access these) and those doesn’t count as backlog. The OG Xbox and 360 games we got through GWG does count however as those are ours to keep regardless if we have a GP sub or not.

+0 Call of the Elder Gods
Sequel to Call of the Sea, like that game it launched into Game Pass.
Expands on the original’s story and has similarly cool puzzles, plus a really interesting Lovecraftian aspect.
I accidentally got the secret ending on my first playthrough out of sheer luck, so was really happy with that as it was a great ending to the story across both games - I’m not sure how much of it happens in the usual endings.
Overall, if you love puzzle games (there are Easter eggs for other series), and particularly if you liked Call of the Sea, definitely one to play

Yep I didn’t realise it was a sequel until I saw the news on here and saw it launch on GP.
It ties up so much of the original’s loose ends, with probably slightly higher production values

Its a sci fi noir point & click detective game from a German dev so of course I play it! Overall that was fun but could have been more. The premise of the story is pretty clear from the start but the conspiracy is convoluted and has to many factions and participants. i lost track of who is who after couple of hours. What they did really well are the branching paths, this felt pretty natural. So experimenting with relationships and good cop/bad cop behaviour to see different endings is ok. But there is no way to manual save and load so if you want to see all 8 endings you have to replay the game 8 times. This is not happening

Decided to pick up Dispatch since it has a early purchase discount and looks awesome. I decided to cancel my Galactic Racer preorder, which I’ve already lost a point for, so taking a zero here on balance.

A great prison sim/RPG set in a 16 bit world of anthropomorphic animals. I am so glad I was able to knock out one playthrough before it left game pass! I loved it so much that I am going to buy it just to experience other endings, play as other characters, and become friends with different inmates!

Great game, loved it. Super sharp writing and some great voice acting. I’m a little lukewarm on the actual dispatch/hacking gameplay sections, they’re nothing special. But as a story experience it was awesome.

The Holy Gosh Darn
It was fun for a few hours and then I don’t know, it started to lose my interest. The time travel mechanic while fun at first made things quite repetitive after a while. It has a timer as well and most of the time I’m just not a fan of that. Glad I bought it at super low price, for me not worth it at full price.
A day late, but here’s the update! Some completions dripping in, keep it up!

+1 007: First Light
Honestly truly feels like playing a Bond film, and has so many nods to the movies, as well as a great soundtrack, brilliant acting and awesome gadgets.
It’s very like Hitman in that there’s multiple ways to complete the “being discreet” sections which feels cool, and while obviously some fights are a bit scripted in order to help the story it never felt anything less than cool as fuck.
The actor makes a great Bond too, really likeable and believable, and the supporting cast are excellent - Greenway, M, the other trainees and Moneypenny plus the many antagonists and extras are all excellent and really sell it as a Bond “film”.
If I’d been to the cinema and watched this I’d rate it as one of my favourite Bond films, and I definitely think it’s high on my list of favourite games
This really makes me want to play it! I’m bumping this up the wishlist a bit.

Maybe I should start making a concerted effort to finish some games? When did I even post my last point gain?
I really liked this game! I’d love to see more games use that kind of art style.
