You’re right, I just read the UK part and not the USA one.

We don’t know yet what they’re doing. If it will be Season 4 part 3, or a movie. Most predictions for over a month have been a movie

As manga readers could tell there was no way they would get close to the actual end yet

This Thursday I’m gonna see Jujutsu Kaisen the movie at the theater. I don’t know the anime at all yet, but if I digs it, I will check it out for sure.

We don’t get much anime movies in the theater so I definitely want to support that. Unless I just can’t see it like a One Piece movie, because it’s so far into the anime it’ll spoil the characters.

Don’t worry, it’s a prequel, so it won’t spoil (mostly) the plot of the TV series, but you may be introduced to characters that appear in the TV series.

How many episodes would I have to see to catch up on the characters that will be in the movie?

Unfortunately I am not following Jujutsu Kaisen so I can’t say, and this information was gained in passing on my social pages.

15 -17 ? Something like that .

I just finished Sono Bisque Doll wa Koi wo Suru (My Dress-Up Darling) and man, what a great show. Cloverworks really knocked it out of the park in my opinion. They took a great, sweet Rom-Com with great characters and really delivered everything that’s great about the manga while also giving it a real slice of life vibe which I totally wasn’t expecting. It may sound strange, but I think this moved itself into my top-10 favorite anime of all time and I’ve been watching anime since the late 80’s.

The other end of the spectrum of manga adaptations has to be Arifureta: From Commonplace to World’s Strongest. I just recently started reading the manga and while it’s dumb, it’s also a lot of fun. After about 30 chapters I decided to finally give the anime a try and good lord is it terrible. It’s crazy that an Isekai doesn’t bother to explain to you that it’s an Isekai in the first episode and so many things that help explain the story (which exist in the manga) are either ignored, or glossed over. It’s as if they just assume you’ve read the manga.

The biggest offense though, is that the cool art of the monsters and the monster fights that make the manga so much fun are replaced with some of the worst 3DCG I’ve ever seen. Seriously, Beast Wars from the early 2000’s had better 3DCG and even better animation. It makes watching the show nearly impossible. For 2019, it’s honestly unacceptable. I’m in the middle of the 2nd episode and I have no desire to continue. It’s such a shame because I thought the manga would make a great transition to anime. I was expecting something similar to Goblin Slayer, but instead got awful garbage, lol. :man_facepalming:

It’s already April in some places so kdyknyokkmhnhnn

Just saw Jujutsu Kaisen 0 in the cinema. Man I love me some anime in the cinema.

Jujutsu Kaisen is brand new for me, I didn’t know it’s story, characters, even artwork, so this was extra nice. Gotta say the movie is great, fantastic animation by Mappa, I can see why people praise them so much even if I’m personally not a fan of how they made some AoT characters look.

I will absolutely check out the anime now.
