I’m glad they’re doing it properly, with more episodes instead of a movie

My only contention is what’s with all these parts for AoT’s seasons. If it’s going to be a year later, just advance the number of the season

What we’re watching now should be season 5 and what comes in 2023 is season 6…the ACTUAL final season

So is it. the end for a season or it is the ending for the whole anime? I know that manga has ended.

next part, next year is the end…finally

Had to look at the date to see if that wasn’t a April fools joke, but nope. Part 3 it is, lmao.

I agree though that it’s better than ending it with a movie.

No that guy works for JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure

I imagine they were told ā€œfinish it all in a seasonā€ said ā€œhell no we need more timeā€ were told ā€œfine we’ll give you a 2nd partā€ they said ā€œhell no we need more timeā€ and finally were told ā€œfine, you’re doing so well we’ll give you the last part you asked forā€. So a constant back and forth with the production company and studio but the studio is so good that they won out for once.

I’ve been holding off on watching Attack on Titan Season 4 till it’s done, I’m pretty certain I’d crack and go read the ending in the manga otherwise. After a couple years of waiting looks like I’m finally able to…wait another year. Oh well, it’s better done right than rushed.

That was fantastic, and a perfect way to end things off for the final season’s final part.

Last episode was very good. But I gotta say, I was hearing some incredible things about it just before hand that had me super hyped. Like it was an all timer, one of the best ever, etc.

Honestly, if I was making a top 5 list for this season, it wouldn’t make the list. Again, I thought it was really good. I just thought different parts of what’s left the story would get advanced, instead of some of what we saw. Or I thought maybe it would be a longer than normal episode and all what I expected would be shown as well as what they got to here

Anyway, I very well could be in the minority. Don’t be discouraged by my take on it. It was good and many, my brother included, thought it was great

Edit: Jess just made me realize how this episode will hit for non-readers. A lot of stuff revealed here and so much pent up emotional release…and yeah. It’s pretty great. The fact that I knew all of it ahead took away from things a decent amount. Ultimately were they left off was very smart and the way they got there was so well done

Now let’s hope 2023 literally means the first of January
