It’s not bad, but it’s not great either. It is padded with repetitive and kind of clunky climbing mechanics, but it’s intriguing and the mystery is enough to keep you invested.
But in that same genre, I feel like The Invincible or Deliver Us Mars were doing things way better with the same kind of AA budget, in my opinion. The Aphelion looks stunning at times though and the voice acting is great.
It’s perfect for GP, although I hope it doesn’t put them under with all the studios closing right now in France.

God forbid, DontNod are one my favorite studios. What’s going on with French studios closing? Did something change in the country (government support/subsidies) or just global economic impact?

Deliver Us Mars was also the vibes i got from the first hour. Like i have been here before.
Already saw a toggle for oxygen management in the settings. Nice, my favorite mechanic where my character dies because i looked too long at the environment art.

Wish it had 21:9 support on pc
