It would be quite ironic if PS players get rewarded for lacking BC, with an updated version of the game, while Xbox players get nothing. By an Xbox first party dev no less. What a world.

The contract says parity. I assume that means an upgraded version for Xbox and Switch 2 and PC as well. God I hope so. Just do an Xbox Series version that’s a free upgrade for BC owners and make it Xbox Play Anywhere. It should even be Xbox GP day one since it’s a remaster and not a new release.
So basically, Microsoft is funding remasters of Black Ops 1 and 2 for PlayStation 5 but aren’t doing them for Xbox Series? Wow.
I don’t care, put them on Xbox and make them free.
You know thinking about it, I think the free upgrades are going to go away. Since that’s a way for Microsoft to monitize Xbox further, like Sony does.
