Playing through it now. Really enjoying it. Graphics are excellent. Good mix of mission styles etc. I’ve always found the Modern Warfare campaigns to be the best when it comes to COD.
Question: Does this campaign contain any “supernatural”/hallucinogenic elements like the Cerberus monster from BO6? I prefer my COD campaigns more grounded.
No. It’s pure COD. The closest is one part of a mission where there’s a chemical that knocks you out but it’s story related and not like anything in Black Ops 6 whatsoever.
On a side note - I really enjoyed Black Ops 6 campaign as well.
Have to say, so far this game is pretty balsy with how it just names countries instead of making places up that are obviously in place of say…Russia, or North Korea.
I’m shocked too. They’ve been quoted as the advertisers for the US military for years with their bombastic “America f*ck yeah” set pieces, but the world they described in this campaign is dark and almost hopeless. It’s not overly brutal, but a bit too real sometimes.
Seems like a proper opportunity to make campaign purchaseable and playable separately. People uninterested in the full package might be willing to experience the campaign for $30-40.
I’d definitely get a standalone campaign pack even at 40e, I have absolutely no interest in the multiplayer portions of the game but I always enjoy the COD campaigns and this one looks really cool from what I’ve seen. Oh well…who knows maybe there will be an option like that next year.
Those Paris missions, ESPECIALLY Traffic…SUCKED. Most everything before and after have been excellent
I was hearing this Amercian soldier West and thought his voice sounded very familiar. So I looked him up…he’s the actor who plays Sean on Shrinking. And this Valeria chick sounded sorta cute, so I looked her up…nah not cute… Maria Elisa Camargo is a SMOKE SHOW
