They are making the games, they don’t make Xbox consoles, so they don’t know if it’s good or bad for the platform. That’s on the higher-ups to make it work. It makes sense.
Sometimes, it feels like people are discovering how gaming worked for decades. We had exclusives, ports and late ports since the 90’ and even before that. Reactions feel disingenuous and uninformed to be honest.
Sony pulled out Wolverine, Yotei and now Laufey from PC like a few days ago and yet, so many nodded to that.
Oh my god I love this studio. Say it like it is louder for the people in the back. They’re a studio not a video game publisher. They make games and gamers either will or won’t enjoy them. It’s on the publisher to make business sense of it all. Not the developers (unless they’re indie) and certainly not the gamers. Xbox has made it clear what games will launch on what platforms and as it’s been since they bought Minecraft it’s “case by case”
People are mad at Sony depending on where you look. I follow a lot of comic book YouTubers and one made a YouTube post asking if people were excited about wolverine. Most of the comments were no and citing that Sony pulling PC ports and the increased cost of the PS5 as the reason.
Man, I tend to forget that most of these “gamers” never heard of Bard’s Tale nor its humor; same for Wasteland and its story. Even with that, it did not sell that many on PlayStation or Nintendo, but on pc and Xbox? Man, it did a lot. So, not really surprised by this, as I see Inxile games as a niche of their own that has most of its entire fanbase on pc and Xbox, very different from Obsidian or even Larian, which is mostly everywhere.
Man, this guy is effectively making it easier for Inxile NOT to consider porting the game at all. Disgraceful shit like that is one of the reasons why Twitter is and should be dead.

Oh that. I really get the impression that Xbox Team should not hold back or hide or get beaten down. CoD has been vocal about rumors, so they debunked them. Inxile won’t tolerate rudeness. Even Aaron stepped in about the recent post from Tom. Enough is enough.
