Cyberpunk 2077 |OT| It feels like it's taken 2077 years for this game to release (and might take another 2077 years for it to be fixed)

So far got past the tutorial area and currently ignoring going to see Vic to look for some stuff.

So far: the easy sniper on the rooftop on around Misty’s place is gone. The Overturn revolver and the legendary pants on the dead police are still there and we can re roll mods on the pants by reloading our saves or, by running to the corner and running back to the body/location(Best of option for Xb1 users).

There are definitely a group of players who are bothered by bugs a whole lot more than most folks are and hyper aware of them.

Being aware and being bothered are two different things

Anyone who says they didnt encounter bugs last year is flat out lying or playing the game with sunglasses.

Basic bugs like cars exploding or people walking through terrain and cars randomley hitting things menus dont dissapesr from UI there was so many. And im not someone who notices bugs in gamrs

I can’t say I encountered any of those bugs, but I did encounter at least one game breaking bug while playing last year, the equipped weapons disappearing from my inventory bug.

:joy: :pensive:

Yesterday I started as Street Kid and today as Corpo and man, these prologues are dope as hell. Really digging the atmosphere for sure.

Gotta say that so far I dig night time the most, visually i don’t find daytime all that interesting or good looking, night time is the shit. I’ve also done the training and I wasn’t expecting the melee and sword combat to feel this satisfying.

Yeah, I had that happen in my first playthrough in the same spot, so seems to be a scripted event.

So as for those prologues…

As soon as you and Jackie go find that girl, that’s where all the prologues are the same or do they still have unique missions after that?

They’re pretty much all the same, it’s just how you handle each encounter that differs, and what V has to say because of the difference life experiences of Nomads, Street kids, and corpos are.

Fuck it man, I think I’m gonna buy it. Hard copy for 25 bucks here, so far it’s the cheapest.

It can come to Game Pass but who knows how long that will be and I can see that this game is my jam. This is one of those games where I’m gonna take it all in, look at every little thing there is and just take my time with it.

Might as well hop in now when there is a drought. I’ll be starting it this weekend.

Yeah, I bought it a couple of days ago, it’s $30 here and after just completing the first mission last night I know that it will be a great game for me.

Yeah it’s not like my backlog isn’t full as it is with Halo campaign, RDR2 still to play and so much more but after the prologues of Cyberpunk I just want to play this now, haha.

I know that a lot of people beat it in like 5 hours or something, but Halo took me 2 months to finish and this will probably take the same amount of time or longer.

Apparently it’s 90GB on One X and only 63GB for me on XSX. That’s odd, lol.

I still need to finish Infinite. I overloaded on the side content, and lost my desire to play. I will probably finish it soon. I have like a couple of missions left.

Better compression due to the SSD I think :phil_lmao:

5 hours is crazy, that must have been like rushing it. I’m gonna do everything the game has to offer, all side content etc.

Same here. I’m just not in the Halo mood I guess. But soon as I finished the prologue of Cyberpunk I was 100% in the mood for more.

I played all the Halo’s as a warmup for Halo Infinite so that might be a factor, but I think it’s just open world fatigue at this point.

My brother is considering the game now too, which means we’ll split the costs and buy it digitally which i always prefer.

But he’s afraid the game is too hard for him in terms of RPG elements. He wonders if you can play the game in “basic” mode so without the mandatory RPG elements. I don’t think you can, right? Mass Effect has like a Give me the story option, but Cyberpunk not, correct?

But then again, he did finish AC Valhalla and that has stuff like upgrade menus too. He’s gonna play the trial tonight.
