At first, I thought the Xbox tax was just bullshit but ever since Microsoft legally acquired ABK two years ago, you can see it on weekly if not daily basis. The worse part is that if these people actually played on Xbox, they would realize that the platform is great to play games on but instead, they focus on everything but the games. It’s very very tiresome at this point.

Anyone saying there isn’t an AI bubble is nuts - Nvidia are a GPU manufacturer who are benefiting greatly from the AI hype, but there’s no way the results anytime soon can match the expectations.
I can’t see how investors jumping in hard expecting AGI in the next year or so don’t lose their shirts, as earnings surely will fall as it’s realised current AI isn’t reliable enough or advanced enough (for example around context) to do what people / companies want - that’s probably many years away…

Honestly, it makes me kinda glad in a petty way that some games are just not going to go day and date with playstation and i am honestly inclined to belive that one of the reasons outside just budget or scope is simply cause of the nasty and unproffessional behavior of people like this.
Also, i do have an incline that xbox might just blacklist these folks or just outright not give them access to their games in some way like they have done with digital foundry in the future and honestly speaking, i think no one should be surprised when it happens.
Funny thing is, both nvdia and openai are the ones investing almost evrything they have to it when compared to other interested parties like google and microsoft, like its really eye opening in this.
Once the bubble busts they are beyond screwed.

If it was up to me, I would simply eliminate review codes, previews and pretty much everything if I was Microsoft. I would say that you can subscribe to Game Pass Ultimate like everyone else that wants to play the game or just buy it. I would stop catering to all of these sites and whatnot because there’s no point. Microsoft is never ever going to win any of these people over so why spend money, time and resources trying to do just that?
I don’t have a problem with Microsoft porting their games elsewhere. I’m so fucking over it. I say they should release their games day one everywhere. Consumers getting to play Microsoft’s games on their PlayStation or whatever doesn’t change me liking or disliking the game. Or my enjoyment of the game.
I just wish gaming media would actually focus on what their job actually is when it comes to reviews which is to review the product and how that product is. Not the company behind the product because if we’re doing that, then EVERY company including Sony and Nintendo should be docked 10 points minimum because they all do and have done fucked up shit.
Imo, it goes as far back as Dragon Quest 5, which was the first or one of the first game to feature monsters fighting with us.

The Xbox Store isn’t loading either. At least games are playable.
Edit: Even Microsoft websites aren’t loading properly.
