They seem to be at least cross-buy.

Still a pretty good deal, makes me wonder if there was some issue getting the cross save to work because of differences in code or if was a licensing issue?

It is now my understanding that inxile is in fact not making Clockwork revolution but instead a DOA game.

I spent a good amount of time grinding in dungeons. Enemies respawned if you went to the entrance. It’s what I’m used to doing, and it took far less time than usual because after a while I was insta killing without even starting a battle thanks to the attacking system. I also found out certain archetypes heal and restore MP through those attacks. So they just made for fun mindless grind sessions. My goal is to always stop and have as much done as possible (upgrades wise), so I wouldn’t finish but usually do enough that the main story was fine. It’s been a while, but I don’t remember the sandworm monster being bad. Or anything really (though I only got up to just after the fifth party member). Especially once I knew their weaknesses.

Hmm, actually you remind that I want to get back to the grind. I’m pretty sure it has touch controls so I could farm xp during commutes! Yay!

It’s only a costume but it’s pretty good that it seems to fall apart, like in Ghost and Goblins and the MvC games.

Seems they don’t have unified build - so PC version IS PC version. Or rather both PC versions - they seem to have a single launcher, but you select which part you play with a Xbox App menu or use one of the direct shortcuts in Start menu. Also, seems there is no gamepad support. Also, I read the games on PC have been updated beyond console version, so that’s probably most compatibility breaking issue.

All games that are Play Anywhere are the PC versions added to the Microsoft store, so being updated beyond the consoles doesn’t really make sense to me. I can see it being a launcher not supporting the cross save feature, especially if it doesn’t support controller.

Back when I used to do UWP-based Xbox ports, we would just have same package for Play Anywhere, with both controller support and MnK support in it.

What I mean in this case, is that MS store version of BGI & II seems to be GDK support added to latest PC builds, rather than MnK support (and other updates) being added to on top of latest Xbox builds.

Interesting decision.

Like them or not, at least they got a lot to offer within a year gap.

Nintendo believes in generations!

Does that mean Xbox will be getting developer consoles?

Nintendo runs a good business. They have much more manageable game productions with the scale of their games, and can charge more/as much as the rest of the industry for them. I mean it’s 2025 and Nintendo is doing victory laps for “a single interconnected map” and “the ability to smash almost everything” those games retailed at $80 and $70 respectively too. I mean it’s still crazy to me, but they’ve won the hearts of the game console market. I can complain, but they’re racking it in while running a tight (kinda cheap) ship. Meanwhile Sony is trying to keep it’s luxury liner going and Xbox is trying to kickstart an entire maritime fleet, but neither have as good margins.

Only interested in Metroid Prime 4 and maybe Splatoon Raiders but need to see it first.

Have noticed Loaded have started showing Game Pass Ultimate 6 and 12 month cards, something I’ve not seen for years - about an extra £5 off the year one compared to buying 4 3-month cards.

Prices not changed to reflect the price rise either, so keep being tempted to fully stack out my sub…

I still can’t take that name change seriously

Yeah I hate it! What a waste!

Yep lol but if they keep having Game Pass subs at those prices they can call themselves Purple Fluffy Dinosaur for all I care :stuck_out_tongue:

Xbox is really dropping the ball pretty hard here. Where is Sea of Thieves for Switch 2? Where is Gears Reloaded? Where is Forza Horizon? Where is even CoD which you promised under oath? There isnt even a Minecraft Switch 2 Upgrade on a platform where nobody complains if you charge 5 bucks for it. These are all high margin stuff. I thought that was your thing, get on it!
