I am hoping we get a new look at Stranger than Heaven, maybe perhaps even a release date?
And I really wouldn’t mind getting a release date for Onimusha. Definitely possible.

I’m just over the Special Edition release schedule. I’m still salty. I’m honestly fine with buying the game twice but I’m so mad that none of my progress could transfer over. I literally was hooked and beat everything but hell and hell. Gone. Sadness.
Anyway, I can 100% see Devil May Cry continue. It’s as simple as making new characters and commiting to Dante and Vergil just being DLC. It’s not like DMC really has a committed timeline. They literally rearranged the games ahead of 5’s release. Arguably 1 had a perfect ending too. The devil God was beat and demon world sealed. 2 was a made up “There’s another devil god that was just… over here. You don’t know about him. He’s from Canada. Totally real though.”
. 3 was a prequel. 4 was a cult abusing devil arms and the legacy of Sparda. 5 was infighting and kinda just gave Vergil a happy ending. Make 6 about an older Nero training his and Kyrie’s daughter or whatever. That’d be cool. They could also really expand on Lady and Trish as playable characters. Tons of potential there.

Make way for another million!
Sad for Highguard. Getting your place in the sun as a MP game is hard now.
Definitely enjoying Indiana Jones, but not completely loving it as much as I was hoping. They completely nailed Indy as character, it IS him, Baker’s voice is insanely well done and he could’ve fooled me. Game looks good, combat is simple but fun although I do wish there were more interactable objects in the levels that we can throw baddies into like Emperor’s Tomb had.
It’s sadly the level design of the HUB areas that isn’t exactly completely grabbing me yet. I find I have the most enjoyment when I go for the actual story missions and where you enter more closed off areas, like tombs and such. I also so far really, really am craving some set piece moments like again… Emperor’s Tomb had but also Tomb Raider and Uncharted.
I don’t find the AI very smart either and this makes sneaking around kinda obsolete. I’ve been smashing dude’s faces in and another dude was close to it but somehow didn’t see it.
Still, enjoying it!
Yeah, some of the mechanics objectives and the layout of the maps can be a little bit confusing. And I think that if enemies were smarter, it would also be too frustrating. Or maybe it’s too easy for you ? It can get tricky in Vatican when you agro every mussolini fan of the map in some small room or stairs.
But from my own experience with the game, it definitely shines through exploration and a second playthrough to find all the collectibles. I would say, rush the story the first time if it’s okay with your playstyle, and then take your time to explore and get everything either in NG+ or a second playthrough. It will be much more enjoyable. At least, for me it was.
For me, first time palying was like :

But second time :

Machine Games is unmatched in the art of punching fascists.
I really like the Indiana jones world and characters. It’s always hard to know how much that impacted my love for the game. I’d be curious to know someone’s opinion on the game that knew nothing about the franchise. Hope we get a sequel someday.
On the last bit, I’ve been playing an absolute shit ton of Wolfenstein lately (especially Youngblood, it scratches an itch that the others don’t and I liked it more than most)… I’m sure current events have nothing to do with it….
You don’t like the Vatican? I thought it was great level design-wise and I loved exploring that place. The DNA of previous games from them like The Darkness and The Chronicles of Riddick is there in spades, exploring at your own pace and taking in the vibes of the places is a big part of what makes the former games and Indy special IMO. It’s a whole different beast and approach to the genre than Uncharted or the nu-Tomb Raider games…MachineGames pre-release referred to Indy as adventure with action elements (or something along those lines) for a reason.
Also you can adjust the enemy AI’s difficulty/awareness at the options menu if you find the game too easy.
Youngblood was good. Better than a lot of people were saying at the time.
“Building for the future of Xbox with VP of Next Gen” Aww yeah. Bring on the speculation.

You can do that? I remember seeing a option for how challenging puzzles would be, but also difficulty and I went with normal. But you can specifically choose for enemy AI? I will look into that tomorrow. Now it’s sleepytime.

For that user who is worried for it to be exclusive.
Sad about Silent Hill being a exclusive, just why? Silent Hill F wasn’t, why not let the goddamn series be multiplat and stop screwing over the fanbase you’ve already built on a platform when 2 and F are already there, I regret buying both games now, I really hate supporting companies that screw us over like this, anyway, Resident Evil better anyway and all their games are on sale now, I bought RE5 for 5$ and RE Village Gold Edition for 15$, screw Konami.
Lol from potentially next year it won’t matter anyway, they do PC then it’s on Xbox, if they like it or not
I really hope it’s next year at the latest.
Silent Hill Townfall was announced a while back when it was still before Xbox stepping in to gain supports. Also, it’s a small game in compare, so they probably could only handle one platform. If it’s good like really good, they can expand.
Is @Sikamikanico at the DICE awards?

No, he wasn’t, I just watched the latest Headlines.
Honestly, reviewing the State of Play I’ve never been happier with my choice of gaming only on PC and Xbox for the last 7/8 years or longer (I’ve an old PS4 but it’s not been switched on in ages).
Xbox first party has so many games I love (Forza Horizon, RPGs like Avowed, Outer Worlds and Fable) and plenty of cool indie games (both on and off Game Pass) - while Steam has loads of quirky indie games to try.
PlayStation first party is coming to PC faster and faster, and are releasing less and less anyway, and I find too much of it too similar or miserable - while their exclusives are in the same boat, either available on PC immediately or shortly after.
Next gen Xbox combining those two platforms seems perfectly timed and very much capturing the zeitgeist among younger people who are more into PC - taking the best of both, still allowing gamers to play console exclusives like GTA6 while having that huge Steam library.
On the flip side, PlayStation isn’t outputting enough for hardcore gamers, and the casuals stick to free games or once a year games like EA FC or CoD - meaning they’re going to be gouging the hardcore fans more and more to keep the profits going up.
Now off to play High on Life 2 later, thanks Game Pass!
