Agreed. I am waiting to see what Helix ends up being, hopefully as open as the rumours say, but happy to go all in on PC.
Microsoft is extremely short sighted in recent years it’s very frustrating to be an xbox fan these days.
Speaking of the end of an era, Xenoverse 3 live stream coming up tomorrow. It’ll be like 11 years between 2 and 3 when it launches next year. I hope beyond hope that at least one new next gen console launches next year so Xenoverse 3 can kick off a generation. I like Dragon Ball a lot more 10 years ago (DB has changed less than I have), but it’s still a crazy way to kick off a new era of gaming to me.
Again, thinking screaming in social media is going to make things better is not really smart. One’s walletis usually the answer, however i do notice that most gamers are just looking for fun games toplay overall and don’t really pay attention to the going ons in the industry, but god do some of the folks in the know make them out to be heartless is uncalled for, they have lives and should not be bothered by itas they have far bigger thing to worry about especially with election coming in some countriesand how much of drama series it has become.
It was talked about headlines and here’s the article. They just released the game and got immediate layoffs, it just sucks right now.
Oh so now it loads, freaking twitter is the worst.
Urgh I was going to buy Black Flag and give it a go, think I might finish 007 and Call of the Elder Gods first then get it on sale - don’t really want to reward layoffs
Unfortunately, this feels like a damned if you do reward it, damn if you don’t.
Because it feels like the result would be the same no matter what.
Yep and if we don’t buy the games even more get laid off.
I hate the state of the gaming industry (and to be honest, the world) at the moment - I think I’ll continue to buy the odd big AAA game I’m interested in, continue to use my Game Pass stack but most of all try and buy more indie games too
Yeah, I myself will be re-buying Mio after the studio closed. Just because I want to own it on GoG.
I was wondering if I were to get one month of Ubisoft Plus Premium if my sharing buddy (via My Home Xbox) can play it as well, but according to AI whom I just asked it can only be played by one account.
So unlike Game Pass, it’s not shareable? Is this correct?
Staffy, i really think its unwise to have a ubisoft premium membership unless truly needed. Dosome more research and see if it is.Am certain there more to it.
Are you trying to play tom clancy, far cry or Uno games?
My brother is really hyped for AC Black Flag remake and I kinda want to try it out as well. So having one month of Ubi would be perfect for that.
But why is it unwise? I mean we can cancel it after one month, right?
Yep. I’ve had it before and you can cancel whenever. Unsure if you can share it, but worst case you could just log in as him for a bit to try it out.
I’d be surprised if it didn’t work the same way as GP as it seems to use the same backend features.
I guess the one point they might mean is that depending on how fast you play the game, it might be cheaper to just buy it - for example in the UK Ubi+ Premium is £15 a month but Black Flag is £41.99 for Xbox on Loaded, so if it was going to take me more than 3 months to fully play it I’d be better off buying it
Oh nice, Fallout London mod is available to download on GoG, since I bought Fallout 4 as well that means I can try out the London mod when I start a play through.
Edit: There aren’t a lot, but Skyblivion is apparently going to become available on GoG too.
Modern gaming: release amazing game, gut staff to ghost crew to minimally support game, profit.
What sucks is that it actually works
My need to collect games is getting to me, I have bought 22 games on GoG this week and have 5 more I want to buy. I wished that need extended to claiming games from companies though, but I just have this need to spend money on games even when I own them on Xbox or have no plans to play them (I just re-bought Slay the Princess even though I was happy with my single playthrough).
It’s like this every time I went to the Xbox store where I saw something I thought was interesting and just bought it, specially during sales.
