Dragon’s Dogma 2 returns as Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen! Your unwritten epic begins on XBOX Series X|S on October 9, 2026.

The dynamic fantasy world is expanded with new tales and thrilling encounters. Embark to a snowy new area in the north: the long-abandoned Norgan region, and take on 12 new dungeon challenges spread across the existing world of Dragon’s Dogma 2. Also bring your Arisen and Pawns to life with new hairstyles and tattoo options.

Free Title Updates are on the way! The first arrives June 9 with quality-of-life improvements, including the addition of an Eternal Ferrystone and more Portcrystals. A second update in August brings framerate and performance improvements to all platforms, additional save slots, and many more adjustments and improvements.

Dragon’s Dogma 2: Dark Arisen contains both the Dragon’s Dogma 2 base game and the Dark Arisen Expansion content in one package. The Dark Arisen Expansion will be available as a separate DLC on XBOX Series X|S and PC.

There’s this certain forum where they had lost all hopes until finally they decided to announce it today. It feels nice Cacpom didn’t forget this game exists.

I feel like there’s certainties in this world. Death. Taxes. Capcom re-releasing Devil May Cry with a Special Edition. Atlus rereleasing persona with a [insert adjective or noun HERE] edition. And well actually this doesn’t really work here. Dragon’s Dogma had only one other game. Still there was a good chance and now we know if there’s ever a 3 that Dragon’s Dogma 3 will definitely have one.
