Recently Trump settled his lawsuit with the IRS (himself really) for 1.8 billion dollars, that’s the number that new organizations are quoting.
But LegalEagle law firm went over the actual settlement and no amount is mentioned. Making it clear that the 1.8 billion is only the tip of the iceberg, the way this new committee is set they can pay any amount of tax payer money to anyone under the looses most flimsy reason.
They also don’t have to disclose anything to congress or any other branch of government.
