I can only hope this analysis is on target, because California right now is having some massive issues. Yeah, they have like 60 people to chose from, but Democrats really needed to be on the money for that election. Luckily voterhub has reported that the voter drop for today has Becerra ahead of Hilton, but he was behind not to long ago.
Unfortunately, the most progressive person in the race for governor is the billionaire Steve Steyer (wild stuff, that the most progressive candidate is a billionaire that thinks we need to tax billionaires more), and while he’s catching up to Hilton, he’s still quite far from Becerra.
Then we have states like Alabama and Louisiana, where the governors cancelled the elections to redraw maps more to Republicans favor after votes have been cast. Because the Supreme Court gave them the go ahead to do by giving them a rapid ruling overnight where no one would be awake to stop it file any kind of motion. This was even after 3 conservative judges appointed by Trump and Bush saw the case and said it was illegal to not let the counties choose their own representative.
There’s just so much going on behind the scenes that voting is getting that much more gutted, with even more to come.

This is horrible to see, it’s just footage from camera’s across the country and no real report on if anyone was hurt or search and rescue operations.
The first billionaires might have been bastards in business, but at least they felt a moral obligation to give back and fund public works and scholarships etc.
The first trillionaire really shows what a state we’re in, he instead celebrates by trying to trigger more racist rioting in the UK and helped to cut aid to the developing world killing loads of kids - he’s also it seems trying to make the US and Western world fascist, or at least closer to apartheid era South Africa (probably remembered as “the good times” in his family)

Giving ‘AI’ access to credit cards is going to result in so many more scams, since it’s already being used for it anyways.
Germany ruling has classify Google’s AI summary as liable to Google/Alphabet Company.

If they’re tapping into government surveillance for facial recognition is likely they will share or are already sharing all video data.

The whole mess feels like such an example of how badly we’ve failed as a species and how backwards we are as “civilized societies”. The worse part is the fact that the most likely reason for the war ever starting was Trump and Republicans needing a distraction ahead of the midterms.
How was it not already? I hate these companies putting this stuff out there and then trying to shed themselves of all responsibility. Like this is the biggest thing at the start of the results page now. You can’t avoid it. In cases like edge browser the dumb thing now tries to automatically guess when a search question is “better suited for AI” and moves the entire interaction to copilot. These aren’t opt in features and tech companies can’t hide behind “Well we had a little disclaimer saying AI sometimes says dumb shit.”

I have heard it said it was a mix of wanting a distraction, getting a big ego after capturing Maduro in Venezuela amd ignoring US info because of Natenyahu/Israel.
That last one was even worse because Iran was going to give Trump a better deal tham they gave Obama. But he decided to go in on an attack with Israel, starting the war and creating the current energy crisis.

Yeah, they really want us to use AI, remember that Nadella was saying how not enough people were using it to be profitable.
Then of course we have CEOs trying to tie AI to the public in some way so that we end up bearing the cost, when the whole thing collapses.
Edit: it’s also why some people have started moving to duckduckgo from google, because it offers a noai site to use.
