Haha. Yeah, I do. lol

However, I did drop Pirate Yakuza after about 5 hours. Can’t deal with not being able to dodge without holding down the RB button. It’s so annoying. I think that I have also had my fill of RGG Studio’s games even though im hoping that new IP Stranger Than Heaven plays different than the Yakuza beat em up games.

Just finished the Rufus boss fight in FF7R and I have to wonder what is it that were suppose to do here? Because Rufus has an infinite parry set up and we can’t parry him back.

He’s just constantly moving, shooting and parrying. Making the fight feel like there’s just one specific thing we can do to win, for me that was triple slash, as it’s Clouds’ lockon chase attack.

Decided to do the NG+/Chapter Select so that I could try out the English VO in FF7 Remake, but for some reason in order to switch the voices I had to quit out of the game and open it. I don’t know if this is a bug with starting the game in Japanese and deciding to switch out, but it kind of feels kind of feels antiquated(then again this was a PS4 game).

Casting a spell stuns him for a bit, in which you have a window to attack him without him parrying you. Bit of an annoying fight though.

Which spells? Because I cast fire and it didn’t seem to do anything, I didn’t have lightning and ice doesn’t work to well in this game bevause of the delay, wind seems is in a simlar situation as well.

I used lightning.

Thanks!

I didn’t have it equipped, my guess is lightning is his weakness do it causes him to flinch like a lot of enemies do.

Just finished Final Fantasy XVI. There were things I liked about it, some flaws also. The action combat was not really my preferred flavor. And the choice to cast the entire game world in pink darkness with 40% of the game left… woof. I loved how deep the world building was though.

It’s good game, with some ups and downs for me.

The action combat at the end was about building up a couole of moves that ramped up damage over time when working together.

I can’t say I would want to do a hard mode(Final Fantasy difficulty is what I think they called it) playthrough even if it is a NG+ run.

Yeah I’m thinking about that too. I’m going to do the DLCs and then I’ll need a break from the game tbh. But eventually I’d like to give FF mode a try just to see if I can blaze through it with the assist rings.

Good luck! I actually think if I ever do a hard mode run it will be on FF7R and just activate max damage all the time to run everything through quickly.

I wish they had similar cheats in FF16! But the assist rings are pretty close.
