Oh man your takes can be hot AF…“very disappointed with Requiem’s visuals because the rocks and foliage don’t gel and there’s noise”, I don’t think I ever saw that take again.
If we (as a community) came to a point where we consider Requiem’s visuals “very disappointing” and “noisy” then I don’t know how to respond to that…like for real.
Dude. I’m just a guy who plays video games. I can’t help but notice some games do foliage and rocks better than others. If we “as a community” can’t admit these things… then I don’t know what to say? I’m pretty sure the environmental artists working on games have a decent idea themselves about how to improve things. And yeah, games like Indiana Jones are a real step up in late 2024 compared to games released earlier this gen.
For a long time people were saying “when does real next-gen start?”, well it’s apparent to me that Indiana Jones is absolutely a flagship graphical tentpole release for the Series X.
I’m guessing they’re talking about Indy and the circle? It’s kind of dumb to be hating on it considering it’s coming to PS5 next year, like they should just be bragging about how great it will look on PS5pro(or higher res or something) as long as PSSR isn’t badly implemented(I feel machine games is going to skip the use of it).
I watched this because I don’t want to see too much of the game. I watched the quality bit briefly and then the performance bit briefly.
I hope the 40fps mode provides a good balance of resolution and framerate because if not I will go for quality mode. Nowadays I sit quite close to my 65 inch A95K and I see a very significant difference in terms of crispness between quality and performance.
