GeForce Now And Play anywhere

Seeing what Crimson Desert looks like on a high end PC, I want to play that game at the highest fidelity I can without a high end PC.

I preordered the game from the Microsoft store on my Xbox. I did a quick google search and it says I can link my Microsoft account to GeForce Now. My Samsung tv has the app built in. I know to use the high end version of a game in GeForce Now you need to subscribe, which I might do if I can do it for a single month.

My question, can I link Crimson Desert to GeForce Now from my Microsoft account and play it that way while also going between playing it on my series X?

The short answer is yes as long as the game is available on GFN with the MS store. It’s just like playing on a PC through the cloud, so everything should work like normal. I used it for a bit with Xbox Game Pass and played PC game pass games on it. It’s just like playing games on PC. Generally speaking things just work.

Do we know if Crimson Desert will be available through the Microsoft store for GeForce Now? I’ve tried looking this up but it doesn’t seem like we have information.

Unfortunately it looks like only Steam for now, but I’d say to keep an eye on the official GFN release blog. They specify with what stores games are available and are still adding availability for games on other stores (like part of the update was the games now available through Xbox PC).

Yeah I was going to say that unless it’s it gamepass then sadly GFN doesn’t work with it most of the time.

I know it’s not as good but of course there’s still XCloud. I think one of the missed opportunity with XCloud is that at least give us the option to run the Series X version if you have ultimate.
