Purchased the Premium Edition Upgrade for $20 so I will be putting Assassin’s Creed Black Flag Resynced on hold so i can start playing Halo: Campaign Evolved tomorrow. Wasn’t going to do this but since im off from work the next four out of five days, I figured why not?
I actually did that. While I remember the game beat to beat, I like to revisit old memories. I am aware nostalgia can blind a person, but something about it always feels special for better or worse. Now I’m ready to see what this brings.
Pre renderd cutscenes is weird, especially at 30fps, what could the reason possibly be? They don’t look like those pristine CG movies of Halo 2 Anniversary, they are the same as the game’s visuals to my eyes at least. But in any case I do love the look of this, it has overcome the UE5 look which I was worried about.

Microsoft should have a separate version for the Premium Edition Upgrade. It’s such a pain in the ass. I remember taking a few hours just to be able to access Avowed and The Outer Worlds 2 early via the Premium Edition Upgrade.
Rebs Gaming is correct about one thing - how is there always an issue around Halo? Like, honestly? How is that even possible? Every freaking time. Ugh.
Having this issue, I should have just stayed with my original plan of continuing to play Black Flag which I still have a ways to go and wait on Halo but being off four out of five days including today, I was like screw it, I want to play it. lol
But nope, as of now, can’t even play it. It’s so disappointing.
Yeah, true but it’s so damn disappointing. Can’t even play the game despite the fact that I paid for GPU years in advance (im good for another two years) and the $20 for the Premium Edition Upgrade. At this point, it’s fucking bullshit and Microsoft needs to fix their fucking shit.
I agree that Rebs has an agenda regarding 343 management and whatnot. Shame because he does have good information, details and videos. He just needs to eliminate the agenda bullshit and he would be a lot better.
It is, and I hope this time it will generate enough noise for them to look into it, especially as Asha Sharma seems keen to get in as many quick wins as possible.
