Jeez, it’s been a minute since I hopped in over here.
Unfortunately I haven’t wanted to work on them nor have I really had the time. Any time I do have to work on XboxEra stuff is fairly limited right now and it’s just not something I’ve been able to keep up with. I’m sure we’ll do them again in the future.
I hope 343i promotes these Forge creations within Matchmaking. They can atleast create a separate hopper where the list of maps can be curated or something.
I was going to say it’s a shame there isn’t custom textures and that this map would be pretty interesting with additional pc mods to really make it look like Minecraft - but if Infinite can handle such heavy object loads I wonder if someone could just completely bullshit it by creating textured blocks made of a few dozen smaller cubes to replicate the actual pixely minecraft textures.
I feel like the perks aren’t being used to its full advantage, this isn’t a Halo thing, just a gamepass perks thing in general.

Tbh I’m actually happy with this one. I barely have any Commando coatings. But yes, it would be nice to have something other than the ‘Pass Tense’ coating for every damn item imaginable. Would’ve been cool if they gave away the Clippy weapon charm, for example.

Two new Halo maps were leaked by Surasia, Solitude and Cataract. These were made by 343 in collaboration with the Forge Council using Forge. Note that these are early versions and aren’t quite finished yet, especially in regards to the lighting. Really like the verticality of Cataract.

Surasia says we’ll see these 2 arena maps alongside 2 BTB maps, Engine and Exiled, which were also found in the files previously released, for Season 3. If that holds true, I’m pretty excited for Season 3.
Ya that would be really good. In addition to this, I would like season 3 to finally offer a service record, infection mode, a semi fix for desync(not expecting it to be fully fixed) shorter 3-4 month long seasons. Obviously forge will be there. If that’s all there I think sentiment and engagement will take a positive turn. And that will roll into the seasons beyond, as I expect season 4 or 5 will have the battle royale, firefight by season 5. Campaign dlc by season 6-7.
That would be end of 2023 with 3 month seasons.

Lol this is just my guess/reasonable hope for big content over the next 2 years for halo beyond co-op campaign and forge that we know are coming this year.
