Ugh… Not really surprising, but the next update need to bring major changes to at least bring the community back. No pressure.
Edit: They’re bringing back Vault Breaker, the limited time PvE event, so at least there’s that.
Any news of Marathon that’s not ceasing development is a win for it and its fanbase, adds hope the game can maybe somehow buy more time to potentially get bigger before PlayStation decides there’s no hope. Let’s hope they can go on till they can be sustainable enough to put out Destiny 3, also somehow, and avoid a worse fate.
What’s that supposed to mean?
No one publicly is sure, but … plenty are thinking it signals a move to Free-2-Pay but you have to buy the content updates then. So pretty much Marathon will follow the death path of Destiny 2.
