It’s probably the inefficiency of my own job, but nothing works that fast in corporations in my experience.
I actually found out via Xbox Two. They thought it was fake and Jez was horrified if it was true since he made a bet. Once they confirmed it, they all celebrated like how that one reporter celebrated in the middle of interview when he learned Osama Bin Laden was terminated.

It’s still expected to ship on Playstation for the foresseable future (10 years) Phil Spencer pledged to it under oath. But Playstation could have negotiated something - parity, mandatory support for their hardware features etc. Now MS is under no obligation to do those things.

Old Call of Duty matchmaking has just been fixed like yesterday. It was broken prior for years. It cannot be a coincidence.
