It was definitely in a lot of trouble when the CMA rejected it, but then the EU gave it a shot in the arm. If they also rejected it, the deal would have been dead.

Donāt think it was ever dead, but they definitely had some of the biggest regulators against them. They however played the game masterfully, whoever they paid for this did an incredible job and was worth every penny!

OK, do yāall think the FTC will still go ahead with the kangaroo court in August? 
Probably not as the FTCās appeal will be denied next week and it will be dead.

If Microsoft and ABK close the deal, then the FTC will be forced to attempt to unwind the merger which will take place in US Federal Court. Iāve been saying it for a while now, but ever since the FTC changed their process to make the FTC ALJ be non-binding to the FTC then it shouldnāt be binding to any companies either.
