Thats not the point. The point is that Sony could’ve had a legal contract, in writing, for all sorts of caveats.

Now they have nothing but Microsoft’s goodwill.

I know a lot of folks here have focused on the Game Pass implications of this deal (And why wouldn’t you? Diablo 4 plz!), but let’s just underline the fact that CoD will still release on PlayStation for the foreseeable future, will still be the highest selling title each year unless GTA pops up, and Microsoft will be collecting 80 percent off every digital PS4/PS5 copy.

It’s very funny, the better it does on PS, the more money MS can invest in GP and other stuff
