The 9th District Appeals Court denied the FTC motion for injunctive relief. So at 11:59 PM PST there is nothing preventing MS/ABK from closing in the US.
The only thing is the CMA in the UK and I suspect they have something worked out there already.

Anecdotal, but I knew numerous people in the late PS3, early PS4 era who were exclusive PlayStation, more casual sports game only people that said “Dude, whatever happened to SOCOM? You ever play that? They should bring it back.” They had that for 3rd person, and Resistance/Killzone for 1st person. Sony could have brought any of those back and cultivated them into moneymakers.
But nope, they relied exclusively on CoD and look that them now.
