I donât blame Destin. As much as happy he is, heâs still upset on the fact FTC really went out of their way to waste tax money with a case that has no research. At least with CMA, they miscalculated and at least work on something currently. FTC however continue to push with still no new knowledge or any backing behind it. Itâs like taking the same exam twice and still answer the same questions wrong.
FTC were trying to prop up Sony. CMA were just trying to flex their muscles.
At least do it better job at it.

Money well spent!
Geometry Wars 1 and especially 2 were so damn good, I never played 3, is it good, iâve heard people didnât like it as much
Games like this and Hexic HD, I put so much time into them in the early 360 days along with Oblivion and Gears, would love to see smaller games like these continue to get made within ABK, kinda like Pentiment in Obsidian
Some PS fans really think theyâre entitled to everything. Even Microsoft IPâs lol

Shouldnât the New Zealand decision be coming in the next couple hours?
Yes, deadline is 17th for NZ - They are 11 hours ahead of UK time.
And on MSâs terms now too, so I guess it will be farewell to PS marketing the game and getting the exclusive betas early on.
In short, bend the knee.
I see heâs trying to go down the humour route of cope. ![]()
Didnât expect anything else honestly, Sony werenât in the position to be demanding shit and Microsoft didnât need to give them any deals so it wouldnât help with the CMA because they dropped Sony, just a good PR thing all round, maybe not for Sony though haha
While Microsoftâs initial announcement doesnât mention 10 years for Call of Duty on PlayStation, Kari Perez, head of global communications at Xbox, confirmed the 10-year commitment to The Verge . That makes the deal similar to a 10-year agreement between Microsoft and Nintendo as well as the various deals Microsoft has struck with Nvidia and other cloud gaming platforms to bring Call of Duty to rival services.
Itâs official. After all the posturing, Sony signs on the dotted line and gets the same deal that everyone else got, and the same deal that Microsoft offered at the very beginning. The annual best selling title remains on PlaystationâŚwith most of the proceeds going to Microsoft.
Imagine what that could fund? Even if they decide to put it all into a separate ABK bucket than the rest of XGS, they could totally revive old IP like Hexen or Arcanum, all while the CoD machine keeps turning.
People need to remember Sony PlayStation is far bigger than Jim Ryan. It means he can be replaced tomorrow & no one would miss him. I get the feeling the whole Sony obstructionism became a Jim Ryan show, more than a SIE show. He was the face of Sonyâs opposition against the deal & their voice as well.
And heâll most likely not be in charge in ten years time either. Frankly Iâd rather see the industry veer towards more (at least publicly) respect between its competitors because the way Jim Ryan in particular fuelled the console wars over the past year became pretty obnoxious.
I want good games, services & console hardware, not abuse for buying a product âthe other guyâ doesnât like.
