Go easy on calling anything Game of the Year contenders this year. Obviously Grand Theft Auto 6 will be GOTY is basically already decided.

Finished the game and it didn’t click for me. I think story is decent and soundtrack is good. However, it needed to have better gameplay elements . I’m surprised they didn’t blend music with the gameplay like they did with artful escape. I think it would’ve been much better for me if they added rhythm elements and more interaction with music and environment.

Anyways, tough to talk about this game because it’s been hijacked by grifters. However, for me personally there’s elements missing to be high about the game. However not going to make a stink about it because not every game is for everybody and nice to see others find more joy with it

THIS is how you deliver fair criticisms, unlike said grifter a-holes who are just out for the “hot take, don’t come at or cancel me” bullshit

I also had certain aspects that personally held it back for me, certain parts just dragged on and were very NOT obvious on how to advance the through the level. I still loved it, because it struck me right in the 80’s/90’s nostalgia nerve and frakly made me miss my sister, who totally used to tape MTV back when they actually were mostly just music videos. So I forgave the shotcoimgs

I’m doing the achievements at the moment, and I’ll admit some have be cursing - the baseball home runs I did really well in the main game only missing one, but now I keep redoing that chapter, waiting for the important bit then sucking hard only one or two swings in lol.

But most of it I’m actually liking even more - I love the confidence of youth, the pretty and colourful graphics and how brilliantly all these mini games are put together - skateboarding for example could almost be a game by itself.

The friendships in particular hit even harder the second time around, as the great voice acting with many awesome one liners you missed the first time round build out the relationships further

I did it on PC with some adjustments in the options for mouse sensitivity. I was moving constantly the mouse to train myself and have a good feeling of the movement and focus, then be sure to be lightning fast when seeing the circle and cross.
