Brilliant game, loved it - the themes of youthful adventures and things changing as you get older are universal, even if the actual music and setting was slightly older than me (think the protagonists were 18 in early 90s, I was a decade later) so didn’t potentially hit me as hard.
Still definitely one of my games of the year though, I do seem to love Annapurna stuff, Last Stop was another of theirs than remains a firm favourite, possibly hit home with me more due to the UK setting

I think nothing is perfect and you can still not vibe with the simplistic gameplay mechanics, the characters, story or the music, but if you have any interest in this kind of experience, it’s close to perfection.
It’s literally like a playable soundtrack and it’s awesome. I’ve been replaying some of the chapters just to listen to the music, it’s crazy!

Yep I still loved it, the confidence of the main character made me buy into any song that came on.
I just mean if it had had some of the music from my school discos or my early nights out when I went to uni, I’d have probably been on the floor and melancholy for a week lol - kinda glad it wasn’t so much mine!
Talking of amazing soundtracks, can’t wait for Friday to jump into FH6, I often leave the track playing at the end of a race in Horizon I’m enjoying it so much

Yeah, 2025 was great, but we are so blessed right now! Incredible games coming left and right, and many by surprise! (I waited for Mixtape for sooooooooo long, I’m not joking, it’s been on my wishlist since I saw the first trailer, and somehow it managed to surpass my expectations).

@Sikamikanico , what did Gene Park say about Mixtape on TwXtter? If it is anything related to his reaction to Hellblade 2: Senua’s Saga, it might not be anything positive.
I know we are all supposed to be suppostive of Gene, after he had that affliction, but honestly I’m done with that asshole. He’s a shit talking hater and a conservative fucknut to boot
