The only one I haven’t seen on that list is Sentimental Value. Of the rest, One Battle was my favorite, second was Weapons. Frankenstein, F1 and Sinners round out the top 5….KPop was EASILY the worst of the bunch for my old cranky ass

Project Hail Mary
Very nice movie. Ryan Gosling in a great role, probably one of his best. I mean he was great in Drive and Blade Runner but didn’t really speak much, he speaks plenty here and he really owns this role.
It’s a movie almost taking place mostly in one location and that doesn’t always work, for example Iron Lung. This however absolutely works. And let’s not forget Rocky, the bond between the two is just very cool.

Watched Invincible episode 4x1 which was good and 4x2 which was not so good. Just was too miserable and reliant on the same lame jokes

To watch it all in chronological order? There’s too many things to do in life and too little time. I’m not about to do that, I’ll stick to the show.

Today I finished Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King after I began watching all the movies early this year.
God I love these movies, I don’t watch them every year , not by a long shot but now that I did I’m just reminded once again of how good these movies are. I had forgotten that in terms of blood and gore it surprisingly shows several things. It’s nowhere near as clean and tame as The Hobbit, it’s really everything Hobbit isn’t. Memorable characters, humor, great CGI and practical effects. Yeah. Love it.
Please let that rumor be true that a game on the scope of Skyrim for LOTR is happening.

LOTR films are phenomenal, The Hobbit ones are so inferior because I think the studio got greedy and had to have forced Peter Jackson to not put it all in one movie, but to spread it out to three lucrative ones. At least I hope that was why, otherwise it’s on Jackson just being shockingly inept all of a sudden
If memory serves me well it was supposed to be a two-part movie, then he randomly announced that it would be 3 parts.
I definitely think WBs pushed him to make a 3rd one, which spread the story way too thin. But the direction was just not up to par with LotR. .

Either way is too much lmao. I read the Hobbit in middle school. Like for class we had to read it. It’s not a dense book. It’s not a thin book either. But still it’s like the size of one of the Lord of the Rings trilogy books. I think it’d have been best as one really tight two hour long movie.
