Gears of War: E-Day is going to be Friday September 11th because it’s sponsoring the WWE/AAA TripleMania XXXIV two night event which starts on the 11th in Las Vegas and concludes on the 13th in Mexico.

If the dungeons leak is believed then even that is launching September. E-Day would be walking into a blood bath. There’s good Xbox support too. Lime Blood of the Dawn Walker is going to be XPA. Xbox should neither want to step on the toes and sales of those games or let vice versa happen with E-Day. Maybe mid October or August.

I don’t disagree but I would imagine that the sponsorship was done months ago and there’s nothing that Microsoft could really do. If they delay the game to early October, it becomes close to COD. At some point, the games simply need to come out.
