Excluding the entire debate/argument/conversation about timed exclusivity, it baffles me at times that Sony paid for two years of exclusivity for Forspoken yet only one year for FF XVI, Silent Hill 2, Sifu and Stray (perhaps there’s others as well) when these four games were or in the case of Silent Hill 2 seem to be far better than what Forspoken was. lol
Will be playing it on PlayStation 5 but not sure when. Could be after the Shattered Space expansion or later on. Depends on what I want to play at that time.
Forspoken was a brand new IP, so getting 2 years probably cost as much as 1 year of FFXVI, if not less.

Since the vertical stand is now sold separately from the base PS5, does that mean Sony raised prices on the PS5 by taking away something?

Well, this is exactly what I was afraid of, and one of the many reasons why I’m disappointed in the handling of this game, by Sony. Plenty of games don’t see success until after several revisions, updates, and/or expansions, so to cut at this point just screams Sony wanting an easy way to cut ties after overspending the last few years.

I saw a post about how PS fans have a cycle of “We’re back” and “it’s over.” They’re in former due to PS 30th anniversary collections, which they are nice, but if the rumor is true, sounds like this is the “It’s over” phase.
I have a sneaky feeling most PS stans would love for them to be closed.
They’re vehemently against the GAAS push from Sony.

Sony released two SKU’s with PS3 and PS5 at launch.
PS6 like the next gen Xbox will be ONE console and ONE handheld which makes much more sense for both Microsoft and Sony.

Maybe a mobile and home console like we think Microsoft is going to do. Of course any mobile console needs lower settings for a game, which Microsoft has with the Series S, but Sony would need(lol, can you imagine Sony needing games for their mobile console and everyone just ports the Series S version?) new versions.
