After watching the trailer, and if the game actually looks and performs that well, I have to agree. I don’t know why I find the general name/theme lame, but it’s just an old-ass Pokemon fan holding to older naming conventions.

Maybe Sea and Air? Or have they already used those?
They haven’t, something along those lines… it also just might be my brain immediately seeing ‘wind’ and ‘waves’ and mentally-interpolating that as ‘Wind Waver”

Good news is new pokemon looks promising in the visual department. Bad news is it’s next year. I still think Nintendo has something end of this year, but I suppose Direct can fill in that void.

New games actually look amazing. I’m casually playing ZA as I got it from Costco at half price, and this looks so much better!
I’m surprised the music game boy thingy is selling so well. I had it in my cart and thought I’d wait as I wasn’t so sure about it, then came back from the gym and Pokemon Center was sold out already. Guess the 30th anniversary hunger is really there!

the new pokemon seems like a huge leap for the franchise. some of the last entries were a bit embarrassing so this is good to see.
