Can someone tell Capcom to stop? We have little time in this world as it is…
Great review.
Glad to read it’s not a 15-20 hour game, as I had doubts the game mechanics would keep me interested that long. Will pick it up for sure, as I really enjoyed the demo.
Wow. This game kinda came out of nowhere for me, I don’t even know what it’s about. Gonna have to look into it.
I assume this is sarcasm, don’t know these days ![]()
Capcom cooking super nice this year
No, for real.
The initial reveal of this game was kind of
for me so I didn’t really pay any attention to it after that. I wasn’t sure if it was a third person shooter or puzzle game or what.
Honestly, there are so many games these days, if it’s not from a franchise that I already like, or the imagery in the reveal doesn’t grab/intrigue me within a few seconds, it may as well not exist. A highly positive review can prompt me to give a game a second look though!
Awesome review as always Jesse, game sounds really fun! Year of Capcom confirmed, hopefully Onimusha will turn out great too! Loved the demo and I can’t wait to get my hands on the full game this Friday. ![]()
Great review Jesse.
Was going to wait for the game to go on sale for $40 digitally but Newegg had a 20% discount on the digital version so I ended up buying it for $48 plus tax. Should have the digital code on Friday and will start it Saturday.
Played for about one and a half hours yesterday, I basically finished the demo level and after that went to the New York City area where I saw very little of. Second area looks amazing and looks more complicated than the first essentially tutorial level, the game already introduced some new things in combat which I wasn’t expecting…the traversal is also really good.
Also for anyone playing the game go to the camera settings and put to zero both aiming deceleration options to make the aiming controls feel good, the default settings are just bad with a massive deadzone on the RS. The game in quality/resolution mode (with VRR) runs very smooth and from the post processing effects I disabled the chromatic aberration because it was too aggressive for my liking. Can’t wait to play more today!
