Nice review, I’m looking forward to this. Just wish I had more time for games. I’m still working on Mio!
What’s the general proportion of “main game" to extras? Sounded like there are some minor side quests or collectibles but otherwise not too much off the beaten track?

Everything is linear, so I would recommend to take the exploration sections at a chill pace and try to complete all the quests.

Crazy coincidence, I just started Mio this last weekend. Will take some discipline to finish Mio before starting Replaced. Think i read Mio is like a 20 hour game. Which means it will take me more than a month to get through it…

Ha, yeah I think I’m like Nick. People say games take 15 hours and then I play them for 35… and then I don’t get a ton of time to play games to begin with these days. Been playing Mio since it hit Game Pass!
I did fire up Replaced and go a little past the prologue, looks and sounds great. Can’t wait to get to it sometime around July…

There’s an easy mode. I can say it gets easier when the flow of the game finally clicks. I’m close to the end and I loved every second of it, even the painful stuff. There’s definitely a learning curve with this game.
That wasn’t too bad, I had a little more issue on the climbing up section with the train, because I kept going to far.
The chase on the crane was really bad. But after that, it was OK.
I don’t think I’m that far in, since I only just beat the first boss. The climb I was talking about was the one where we go up a broken train, and the Termites are trying to shoot us, but hey looking forward to the crane I guess.
Edit: Just did the crane section, it was pretty hilarious really. Tripping on a tiny metal box and you died was just funny AF for me.

Yeah, I was raging a little bit, not going to lie. The box you have to push after that with the drone is also pretty bad.
Is that the one were under ground and the box doesn’t provide cover? If so it wasn’t too bad for me because I panicked and found I could hug the wall at the end and the drone above ground doesn’t see Reach.
