Did Virtuous management negotiated rev-share or are they YOLO-ing it like Oblivion?

This makes UE giving the feel of Halo less likely doesn’t it? Since it could mean Halo’s old engine is doing all the physics and feel with UE just being a new skin.

I doubt it’s a TES IV remake situation where it’s UE5 graphics on top of the normal gamebryo engine. If anything I bet they’re using parts of blam for the ‘feel’ but it’s UE5 otherwise.

I kind of feel that it wouldn’t need a hybrid engine if they can just plug in the physics that they have been working on in Havok. Or did Halo stop using Havok altogether?

Edit: Or could that be the hybrid part of the engine?

My biggest fear from Halo moving to Unreal was we’d lose everything the engine brought the series - such as Forge. A hybrid approach that uses both could be really interesting.
