So if you read comics Scott Snyder is a big writer over at DC. He wrote some Dick Grayson Batman, he wrote Batman during the new 52, he wrote Dark Knights Metal and created the Batman who laughs, he did the massive Death Metal event (an event at DC comics that really tied all continuinity together and brought everything forward; it’s also an event with a freaking vinyl and tons of commissioned artists to do songs), and now he’s one of the minds behind the All-In initiative, Darkseid Saga, Next Level, and notably the Absolute Universe. He’s the writer for Absolute Batman comics right now. Among other things both at DC and elsewhere in comics. I love that they added the Absolute Batman costume despite how new it is and got Scott Synder geeking out over it. Most Batman fans and people looking to buy the game probably don’t even know who he is. It’s a real love letter that they’d do that.
