That Insomniac Leaks spoiler filled discussion

Same here, there’s anti-tailgating policies which are designed to ensure people use their own ID cards, however nobody enforces it.

95% of people walk in various doors by following other people in.

Maybe don’t make light of people losing their jobs.

Is there more leaks? Because it seems there’s more.

Not that I can see it’s more going through 1.6 tb worth of data takes awhile and since like 99% of the reporting is reposting only a few people are taking the time to sort through it all.

It was something about “profit cannibalism” and that’s the term Sony used.

Did their emails get dumped too?

I think the issue for insomniac in particular is the licensing of the Disney IP. Some rough back of napkin math means that the titles produced under those licenses would have to sell around 25% better then Sony owned IP(all other costs being equal) to make an equal amount of profit.

PS+ stats (By March close)

PS5- 23.8 PS4- 22.5 17% are premium tier, 71% are Essential

21.8M in America, 18.6M EMEA

Miles Morales has 1.7M avg monthly players on the service

I only looked at it for a few moments, stopped when I heard that some employees passports were there as that kinda feels weird but from what I saw and heard was more management files why we have the power points discussing Sonys current state of the industry, as this wouldn’t be given to front line employees as well as some of the builds for Wolverine.

Edit: for those wondering what people meant by cannibalize sales.

So there was a new leak.

Spill!

I don’t think it matters which it was, we have to do something about all this water regardless. I’ll get a mop, one of you grab a bucket.

I believe someone here just posted a link. Supposedly, it exposed that higher tier PS+ members aren’t higher than Game Pass count.

Curious how the PS+ breakdown is now after the price increases, many vocally saying they would cancel after their 1 year was up, and others saying they were disappointed in Premium tier and would not remain on it.

Yeah it’s posted above it is part of the same insomniac leak.

Its going to take a lot of time to dig through the 1.7 TB of data. I wouldnt be surprised if this leak from the total lack of decent security produces new content for a few more weeks.

Christmas gift for Sony should be security.

I went through all of that presentation and what stood out to me most since I’d already heard in the trial hearing that game pass premium subscribers were significantly higher than PS plus higher paid tiers, was the slide toward the beginning that indicated that Sony wants to push hardware sales traffic towards direct sales (cutting the amount they have to pay retailers for the sale), and the evidence that game trials have minimal impact on increasing sales of third party titles, which would make me not want to bother with it if I were a third party publisher. Also interesting that Ragnarök had the lowest sales conversion ratio for people who trialed it, almost as though they didn’t like the actual game as much as others.

17% of people paying for the couple of PS1 games they add every 6 months, interesting how GP/GPU and Essential/Premium are basically complete opposites in terms of ratio

Also interesting how many are still on PS4, although this was back in March so I’d imagine a fair chunk of those have now moved from that to PS5
