That Insomniac Leaks spoiler filled discussion

Anyone got a link to the presentation?

There’s a link higher up in this thread where I downloaded all the slide images. Most are numbered with page numbers

For those who are really into the stuff being revealed from this leak, I suggest keeping an eye on the Gaming Leaks subreddit. Things get posted there pretty quickly after they are made public. For example, this PS+ presentation we’re talking about today, was posted there yesterday. And I’ve also seen things posted there that wasn’t posted here at all, so if you really want to stay up-to-date I think that’s the place to be.

I love on page 18 that it says with Ubisoft content secured, Activision out and EA Play not viable, headline content options are more limited. Seems like that was a shot taken at EA.

He went away for a week and this all happened. I think he should go back to vacation.

I think it just means they don’t want to pay what EA Play costs or there is some other reason they can’t include it.

Yeah, true. Would be funny if it was a shot taken at EA though. lol

I took it to mean since it’s included on Game Pass it’s not viable. Either because they don’t feel it’s a meaningful differentiator, or because of some exclusivity deal between EA and Xbox.

So about Starfield engagement…

GoT being twice nearly everything else in playtime is interesting, Demon’s Souls being one of the lowest on the list too, although i guess the difficulty is a turn off for the average player maybe

Makes me want to see Lies of P GP stats

For Starfield we have number of players so far (>13m) and average hours played per player (>40 hours) iirc

New to franchise for GoT for example would mean someone who had never played the ps4 version or the ps5 version and was playing it on sub for the first time, that’s my guess anyway

Do we know the numbers for Starfield? Or do we only have achievement percentages?

How does the “new to franchise” metric work for GoT and other new IP?

“New to franchise” likely means those who have played it for the first time when it was on PS+/++/+++ tiers.

Not especially. Its the only one with decent numbers and multiplayer.

Yeah that’s what I meant

That’s a good point, would definitely make sense, not really any other reason it should trend so much higher than the others

Okay nice job on BGS then for getting double the avg hours per player than any Sony game.

Its mind blowing how many narratives this leak is killing.

Also, it is extremelly funny to see a lot of fanboys like this:

I saw someone said that these slides are created by Xbox fanboy and slide in (no pun intended) as if it was part of leak documents.

Yep and there are a lot of fanboys thinking that…must be rough for them.

I recall people making a big deal over Starfield’s low achievement percentages for going into space and completing the main story. In light of PS’s avg hour numbers in comparison to Starfield’s, those people have egg on their faces.
