**A quick note: We ran into some technical difficulties during the recording, so the video and audio quality aren’t where I’d like them to be. I did my best to clean it up in post but it just didn’t land. That said, I hope you can still enjoy this interview because Grzegorz was fantastically insightful. I had a blast chatting with him. I hope you enjoy it! - Luke
No interest in Silent Hill, looking forward to their Star Trek game and will pre-order Lazarus sometime in November as I really enjoyed Cronos: The New Dawn. Great 8.5/10 and underrated in my opinion.
Silent Hill 1 gotta be a very hard task to get right in a remake. So much of what made it stand out is expiremental and technically bound to the PS1 hardware. A safe remake that’s built on the 2 remake is not gonna cut it. There needs to be risk taking, camera movement and world structure and also honestly the length should be closer to the original game, but all these are not safe commercially viable moves so probably not gonna be considered.
Looking forward to Silent Hill, haven’t really gotten into Cronos yet. I don’t like the samey enviroments.
Pretty cool interview, shame about the audio issues. Cronos: TND is one of the best games of this gen and one of the best survival horror games ever IMO so it comes without question that I’m looking forward to the expansion and any future Cronos project. Can’t wait to see more from SH1 Remake and the Star Trek game, hopefully we’ll see something at The Game Awards.
